Yes,
Any ftp client that supports the MTDM
(month, time, day) command will be able to change the date/time stamp of the file
they are uploading is preserved. WS_FTP server supports this command but
be warned that there is no way to turn off this feature in the software.
For us we had to disable the MDTM command from coming through via our
Checkpoint Firewall, and it was a global change.

Subject: Re: [WS_FTP Forum] Retain
file creation dates/times while/after FTP'ing
WS_FTP supports preserving file creation times on both
uploads and downloads. The option is tied to the connection's site profile.

We have a need to send many, many files regularly to
many, many clients. We desire to retain the original file creation date and
time rather than have the ftp server alter it or the ftp process alter it.
Running
Winnt2003 on the server (server version) and Win2K on the clients. We are
presently using MSFT native FTP tools and some batch files.
Hope
to move to WSFTP server and client's if they can support the above need.
