It appears they used their to encrypt
and your key to sign. This is backwards. Files should be encrypted with
the receiver's key and signed with the sender's. From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mark Weber Sent: Wednesday, February 02, 2005 2:04 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] PGP Error I’m trying to set up file transfer
using PGP with a business partner. I will be downloading files from there FTP
server. I created a key pair and
emailed the public key to them.
When I download the file I get this error. [9, [9, [9, [-1, [-1, [-1, [-1, [-1, [-1, [-1, [-1, I need help understanding the
issue. I believe I signed the key
when I created it. Does the server
side need to sign also? The really
strange part is that the file does get transferred and I can read it without
trouble in Notepad. Any insight would be
appreciated! Mark |
