If you created an account for the site, you may want to edit the site information.  Although you may have turned it off in Options, it may be turned ON for the site.  To answer any more clearly, it would be nice if we knew what version of WS_FTP Pro you are talking about.  There is a significant difference between versions 8 and 9.

Hello,

I am an old user of WS_FTP light, and I just downloaded WS_FTP PRO
because I need the Synchronize and the Scheduler utilities, but I come
across a strange problem.

The ftp site that I want to connect to does not allow passive transfers,
which should not be a problem since it is possible to uncheck the "use
passive mode for data connections" box.

WS_FTP LE works fine, but WS_FTP PRO does not. Although I did uncheck
the box, WS_FTP PRO keeps entering passive mode, as I can see in the
information window, and then it gets stuck.


Any idea how to solve this problem ?
