Hello HG, Actually, that's a good question since it's a behavior/GUI change from earlier versions. There are a few ways to do this, one of which is opening a new local view tab.
Another way in Pro 9.0 or higher is to turn on the folder view which gives you a tree view, like in Windows Explorer. To do this: Click Folders on the Navigation toolbar. Drag files to the parent folder in the tree. bye for now, kg -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of H Gilmer Sent: Tuesday, March 29, 2005 4:44 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] stupid file-moving question the last version of WS_FTP I had (6 or 7, I think) included the ".." for the parent directory in the file listing. If I wanted to move a file to the next level up I dragged there. I don't see this in version 9. Is there some setting I have wrong that hides this now? Or am I supposed to open a second tab to move files on the remote site? Hg Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
