Dan,

Well, you may try the following in addition to my previous hint:
In WS_FTP Server Manager, add the individual users, and check "Lock User To
Home Directory".

Although a PWD still returns '/<username>', a 'CWD /' confirms ok, but PWD
still remains unchanged. Worth to try 'STOR /<filename>' or 'RETR
/<filename>'. If this still works ok too, your scripts should work again as
well.

Regards,
Erich

Thanks for the help, but PWD now shows folder as being /<username>.
Hopefully this will be something Ipswitch will add to future releases of
the product.=20

Hi Dan,

In WS_FTP Server Manager go to the host name, and then "User Options",
and activate the check box "User folders under root". This will do it,
independent on what is set for "Login users to: ...".

Regards,
Erich

Is there a way to get WS_FTP server to show home folders as / instead of
/users/<username> ?
I'm currently running that latest version and do not see any options for
this. I have users set to be locked to their home directories, but that
doesn't do it.

We recently moved from a UNIX ftp server to WS_FTP, so several of our
scripts no longer work since the path has changed.

Thanks,
Dan
