Kerry……It would help if you
could tell us what OS your running on your home PC and what
SP your running in Windows. Also,, if your running the newer version on Win XP
Media Edition that OS has a built in Firewall along with Mcafee
. Do you have any Routers that your running at home? From: If your talking about saving the connection info on your pc that
would have nothing to do with the firewall. That would either be saved in
the registry or an .ini file . It would seem that it may be a permission
problem. ----- Original Message ----- I have seen issues w/ the Site manager and
firewalls. Check if you have a checkpoint firewall, Checkpoint is very
specific to the commands it allows through via ftp. David Knapp From: Greetings, I am using WS_FTP Pro and I am trying to save
more sites in the site manager. I have tried using the the connection wizard and
'create site' in the site manager. Everything seems fine. It accepts all the
info and lets me connect, but it does not store it in the list of sites. I have
two sites there and can not add any. I also run the same version at work and
have 12 sites in the Site Manager. Any ideas what is preventing them from being
saved? Thanks, Kerry http://www.bizmox-systems.com |
