Aura, Personally I think Verisign is way over priced, I would use one of the
other services. After all a signed certificate is a signed certificate. Jen

Subject: RE: [WS_FTP Forum] Generate CSR from Server 6.0

Hello Aura,

Yes, this is possible with WS_FTP Server 6.0. High level summary is that you
create an SSL certificate in WS_FTP Server, send it to a CA Authority like
Verisign/GoDaddy/Thawte, they will sign and send back to you and finally apply
the newly signed certificate to WS_FTP Server.

Please try this KB and see if this helps

bye for now,

kg

Subject: [WS_FTP Forum] Generate CSR from Server 6.0

Hi.

I am trying to generate a certificate-signing request from WSFTP Server 6.0 to
send to Verisign. I'm not quite sure on the steps to do so. Do I have to create
a new SSL Certificate to generate the CSR? Or is there a way to use an existing
SSL Certificate to generate the CSR?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Aura
