Sorry I should have explained the context of that last message.

There was a bit of debate at the meeting last night about whether designers
should bother learning about web standards and what can & can't be done
effectively via a browser interface. Basically: Should designer's learn
about what goes on in a browser? Or should their interest stop with
Photoshop?

Assuming you believe that good design can't take place without a solid
understanding of the medium - how do you start convincing your designer and
how can you help them learn? Obviously O'Reilly's "CSS: A Definitive
Reference" is probably not the best place to start, the previous email was
my list of good places to point them to.
