Yes and no. Because Apple kept Safari secret up until the release of the
first beta, they pretty much forked the KHTML code base. Once Safari was
released, the bugfixes and improvements Apple made would be merged back
into Konqueror, but they will only be in the upcoming KDE 3.2 release (of
which the first beta is just out). Knoppix ships with KDE 3.1.4, hence its
version of Konqueror still lacks the Apple contributed code.

The next version of Knoppix should have KDE 3.2, so that could be an
option.

Just a bit of an update:

It's now possible to run both Internet Explorer 3 and Internet Explorer
4.01
in addition to 5.01sp2 and 5.5sp2 (and 6.0!) all on the one machine.

Get the gump here: http://www.skyzyx.com/archives/000094.php

The files required are zipped and ready for exploitation.

Now all we windows users need is to get Mac IE and Safari running without
an
emulator. I can dream can't I?

Brendan
