Hey All I don't know if any of you read FTrain but its worth checking out from time to time (if you don't mind occasionally bumping into some very bizarre rants).
Interesting reading for the day is a review of a site this guy built for Harpers http://www.ftrain.com/AWebSiteForHarpers.html. This guys Big Thing is not HTML & CSS but content organisation, management, navigation and meta data. He really has some interesting ideas and is the only person I know of who is actually trying to implement the Semantic Web (RDF, etc..). Make sure you have a good look at the way his navigation works, particularly the footer links at the bottom or articles.
