[WSG] CSS Filter (Alpha Opacity) on MZ/NS

Why does the CSS filter for alpha opacity not work in Mozilla (1.4, 1.5, 1.6)?  Look at http://www.xdemi.com/music/main.php?s=fun&p=links on I.E. - notice the background of the "front window" is transparent.  In Mozilla and Netscape, it does not do this...   I am an amateur designer  - guess I never introduced myself here, but I'm glad to be here.  I've only recently turned 16 years old, but I'm very interested in web design and even more in learning.  I am very meticulous and support web standards all the way (although I have given up trying to conform with WAI standards haha)   Anyway, I hope someone will be able to inform me of what stupid mistake I am making that does not allow this filter to work.
