I know I've asked this in a previous posting (albeit in a twist off from another discussion), but, can anyone give any good pointers to getting certain aspects of ASP.NET through standardisation and validation (particularly elements that auto-generate HTML, such as <asp:datagrid...> and <asp:label...>?
I know the news is, that the next version of .NET (Visual Basic) will generate validating XHTML (wow, go Microsoft, you one-step-ahead forward thinking enterprise you!), but I can't wait until the end of the year!
I've asked on several ASP forums, but there's a distinct spaghetti western type of 'silence of the ghost town' when I mention standards.
Kind regards Martin Chapman
