hi all
i was introduced to this group by james ellis at a sydney php user group meeting a few weeks ago and have been lurking on this mailing list for the last week. i'm encouraged by what i've seen so far - lots of help and useful information, both on the website and the mailing list.
i maintain http://www.socialist-alliance.org and am making the first tentative steps toward making it a standards compliant site. i'm about a third of the way through making it a php-mysql site. my first no-tables page is here: http://www.socialist-alliance.org/css/notables_draft.html.
we are going to launch a new site for a new publication of ours over the next couple of weeks, and i'd like to make it standards compliant from the beginning. i'm new to doing css *the right way* (as you can see from my site), so any comments on what i've done so far would be welcome.
apologies if this is too vague.
cheers
justin
