Hi Rob,

One of the things I tend to use wherever I use a :hover is a similar :focus
(Not supported in IE) - this gives a similar effect when you are tabbing
over elements -
For an example see http://markl.f2o.org/ and keep hitting tab until you end
up at the either of the nav menus (left and right).

Unfortunately I'm not sure how this works in screenreaders but will help
make your menu's more accessible to keyboard navigation.
