I don't see the confusion. The post asked about a WYSIWYG editor the generates XHTML and CSS, not component that integrates with a Web app.
The same poster clarified in the third post in the thread with:
but to edit documents on the web
Oh, fooey. I did see that but I was too dim to figure it out. Next time, slap me upside the head and I might figure out you're saying something I should be paying attention to.
