Yep, you can do that if you like. Suckerfish works in IE 5 unlike IE7 and the other .htc solutions though and its obviously alot smaller in file size (10K for IE7 vs about 12 lines for suckerfish).
Personally, although IE7 is an amazing piece of work its a bit of an overkill for most sites. Termendous piece of coding though.
