This is not the case at all and I want to squish that assumption right away.
The "Features" section of the WSG site has absolutely nothing to do with the
Web Essentials 04 conference (apart from proudly wearing the banner as do
all WSG pages). The fact that the speakers at WE04 and some of those being
interviewed happen to match at some point is due to their profile in this
area of the industry, and the order they were asked/responded.

Ummm... No, but suffice to say that it is around our expectations for early
bird registration (and a reminder now that if you do it in this financial
year it's $100 cheaper and may help you spend up this years training budget
so *.gov.au people need to get on it if they want it out of this financial
year).

I really hope you can come Neerav.

Back to the Features section... It will be a place for full feature articles
as well, we have just started with the 10Q4 series of interviews to get it
going. Any WSG Member can submit a feature article. There will be an
editorial process involved, maybe through a select committee of reviewers.

Anyone have any articles they would like to submit (direct to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] please)?

As for the original question from Dante, Russ selects the interviews he does
and that's based largely on the people he knows and reads (otherwise he
wouldn't know what to ask). If the question is "How do I get interviewed"
then that will need to be done directly with Russ ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) but if
it's "Can I suggest someone" then please go ahead.

Remember, this section is designed to draw audience to the WSG site (as well
as entertain and inform the members) so pretty well only people that are
high profile in the core WGS areas or that have just done something to draw
attention to themselves (released a related book etc.) are likely to be
interviewed here.

Regards,

Peter
