" Well after some careful planning, i decided to discard the extra classes and use Dean edwards IE7 "

My thoughts ?

IE 7 gives a CSS designer a lot of leg room when developing CSS based layouts.
But my main :focus was using IE7 on things like, :hover and [attr="value"]. It turned out great, althought i have to back myself if the user hasnt got a jS enabled browser ( using classes ) but all in all the process so far has been great.

an example would be suckerfish menus, although they use DOM to make IE see the second-level, you still have to decalare extra classes ( how many depends on how complex you're menu is ) and in my case the extra markup was a pain. IE7 gave me the abilty to use my regualr markup; and by adding a simple link to the hover stylesheet i was able to achieve the suckerfish, wtihout the suckerfish.

i kno some people may critique it's use, and i have had problems with older versions of Opera ( the latest version displays ery thing ok ) and i have tested it on stand alone version of IE, the results were the same as IE6.
my review of IE7, it's a outstanding piece of work and i'll continue usin' it until it fails.
