i've had a look in ie6 and firefox on pc and the right hand menu pops out to the left. it looks ok to me in both browsers although not pixel perfect. todays special box looks ok too.

Great, that gets the misbehaving background back in place. But it still hasn't cured my disappearing menu. I've found that it's also moved off to the right, thus disappearing off the screen. *sigh*
