This follows KISS principles by making it easy for your customer to use PDF's with 1 click, not 1/2 a dozen clicks within the adobe site.
Fine for Win users, but a .exe file is not much use to Mac- or *nix-based visitors. The Adobe download site has the correct version for most OS's...
Don't forget, if you're looking to build an accessible site, there *is* a world outside of Windows...
