Howdy All,

Given that we are mostly Standards enthusiast, Standards aware or even
Standards starter some way or the other we do find our way to Firefox
to check sites for compliance and conformity. While there are a
plethora of browers out there today and each claiming to do something
the other doesn't... most of all Firefox seems to be focusing on:
compliance to code, adherance to semantics and a fast and secure
browsing environment.

To this end the Web Standards Project
(http://www.webstandards.org/buzz/archive/2004_08.html#a000413)
launched a campaign as most of you would know: http://browsehappy.com

While firefox version 1.0 Prevew Release is out there for you to download
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ and with 10 days and counting
I think it would give this whole community (ours-WSG and
theirs-Firefox) a big boost if we all made an effort to

1. Download the preview release Firefox v1.0
2. Test it out (every click helps!)
3. Provide feedback ASAP to the firefox team re: pros and cons -
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi
4. Promote Firefox on your site/blog -
http://spreadfirefox.com/community/ (put a banner)

We do need to show our support to Firefox, and we need the voice of
Standards Compliance be heard even louder and even clearer!

It is in this little effort that you and I can help Firefox reach
another milestone and help remain/become the browser its meant to be
thereby leading the way forward for Web Standards.

Thanks muchly.

Regards,
Amit Karmakar
