Thanks for the advice, Berry. Assigning width doesn't seem to help until the width is greater than the size of the image. But it's a start. Right now, I want the code to work for any list and any image, with any number of these pairs per page. I'll see what I can do. I like your idea of positioning the background.
I tested the page on IE 5 for Mac and for the first time I saw a memory error in
Javascript. I have never seen such a think before. The line which gives this error is
if (LIs[xx].className.match(/\bproductSelectOn\b/i)) self.bv_ProductLineupLastOn = LIs[xx];
What version of IE? I've checked and re-checked, and can't get an error to be thrown. Mac OS X 10.3 IE 5.2.3.
