From what I read, the port of IE 5/Mac to OSX didn't go well; it's almost a different browser.
Indeed, you cannot compare IE5/Mac to IE5/Win, they were both developed independenly of each other... they use different rendering engines, and IE5/Mac was the first browser ever to support the entire CSS1 standard.
So "almost" is inaapropriate, the term is "completely" ;)
