Patrick's example works fine.

If you create a link using the url he supplied the site displays correctly.

& becomes & as it is meant to be.

Did you test this link you just sent me because it doesn't work?   
That's the issue.  When you change & to & the link no longer works.  
  I am very familiar with the practice but it does not work with the  
site I am linking to.
