(i'm not sure this is fixed by the hollyhack - i have tried - and The IE Three Pixel Text-Jog, because i am floating div's next to each other not text next to a div)

I've floated this issue here before (pardon the pun) in a more verbose format, with no response, so here goes the lite version.

I'm trying to make 3 fixed width columns with a particlar border and background style. Here is the sample page.

http://dampsponge.com/pir/layouttest.htm

I have a header div with a background image that has the tops for all 3 columns in that one image and and a footer div with a background image containing the 3 column bottoms.

I then have 3 left floated div's for each column that are wrapped by another div. this wrapper div has the background for the body of the 3 columns.

The body background and the column div's all align fine in FF but they are out in ie. it seems to be 3 pixels.

Both are unaligned the same until i try and put a left margin on the .homebox class. If i put a 3px left margin on this box, firefox does exactly what i want with the alignment while ie is out of wack.

Can you see what may assist me to align the div's with the background image in ie?

I assume it is something in my stylesheet.

thanks
