Why not investigate "-moz-border-radius" eg:
-moz-border-radius-topleft: 15px; -moz-border-radius-topright: 15px; -moz-border-radius-bottomleft: 15px; -moz-border-radius-bottomright: 15px;

This example of rounded corners (http://kalsey.com/2003/07/rounded_corners_in_css/), is elegant and efficient, but 2 years old. I've "googled" til blurry eyed, but have only found contemporary examples with 8 nested divs and other nightmares.
Would someone guide me to a standards based solution without all the gif wrapping?
