I believe you need to repace this:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
with this:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=us-ascii" />
HTML Tidy Online <http://infohound.net/tidy/> will correct many of the  
errors on your source file.
Make a back-up copy of your HTML file before you run it through Tidy.
