I'm sniffing the actual window size to gether stats across most of my sites and, to my surprise, am finding that most people with 1280px or less surf at 100% (disclaimer: by 100% I mean > 95% of the screen. I assume that most people are maximised, but the browser chrome is distorting the figure) Weird. In fact I just pulled the stats to make sure I was being accurate, and found I had one viewer on 1440px wide who was browsing at 100%. Masochist ;) Mind you, I also had one visitor on 1024 surfing at 54% of width. But they are both outliers. The more months I view these stats, the more forcefully I shake my head and conclude - Jo(e) Public does indeed surf maximised.
