I wish all pdf files would get lost, feel they have no place on the web.
They do have their place on the web, but they're certainly not for sending graphics.
What do you do in a situation like this? I need them for the design, menu items and backgrounds...
I've recieved the wrong file format from clients previously, it usually just takes a quick e-mail to get the right ones from them. Just ask for the original image files, they should have them in a format like suitable for Photoshop, Fireworks, CorelDraw, GIMP, or whatever app they used to create them.
