[WSG] Introduction and first submission

Pardon a silly question, but is it standard procedure to introduce one's self? I stumbled upon this site several days ago and have been inundated with wonderfully interesting and helpful information ever since.   I did read that I need to only use plain text, so I must first figure out how that is done on a email by email basis using Outlook Express.   I am Sharron a resident of the state of Texas, USA. I am a fairly newcomer to css, validation etcetera.   Regards   Sharron
