Yep, I know that.  The point is that too often we take ideas for granted,
and the statement that suggested that such a significant percentage of JS
enabled browsers will be using a pointing device is patently false.  Even
"most" can be misleading - "many" is probably most accurate, if still
inconclusively vague.  As well, I know many, many power-users who rarely use
their mouse, preferring keyboard navigation, so I'm not sure how there can
be any correlation between JavaScript and a mouse/pointing device anyway.

Exactly, and I've yet to encounter a cell phone with a mouse attached
