Thanks for your reply. Using margin makes the menu jump to the top of the page instead and display:inline didn't work either. The funny thing is it looks like the images are being cut off somehow and if I change the #menubox to have a padding of 230 px that works in IE but if I do the same with a CC it doesn't have any effect. ARGH if I may say so...

here, try using margin, instead of padding
or try display:inline in this block
