Opera has the best support for handheld and projection stylesheets of any of the major browsers, and this is a fact which they are most proud of.
I don't know about SVG, but you can test, because opera desktop has a mode you can activate in which it simulates opera mini. Also, since it's a java program, you can run opera mini itself on the desktop as well.
