Is the information needed to do that not available from the lang attribute?
If I separate numbers, how will the screen reader know my intention?
This is a phone number:
123 432
This is an ordinary number:
123 432
What in the lang-attribute says the first shall be spoken differently
than the second? At least in Sweden we would.
