Hello Jessica

Online forms are developed and used in a completely different environment to
paper-based forms and have different functionality and usability
requirements. Users expect online forms to be intelligent, interactive and
dynamic and to achieve this we believe the forms cannot look the same as
their paper based counterparts.

That said, many of our clients have their paper forms available online as
fillable PDF files because of the legal requirement to have only one
'approved' version of the form. In these cases the layout and design of the
paper form plays a major role in the usability of the form when completed on
screen.

Good luck with your research.
