I agree with Steve and Nancy. Have you tried to convert .mov into .mpeg, or similar?
Try using sourceforge.net to locate some file format converters. And as far as embedding a movie or similar, have you searched alistapart.com ? And might I suggest http://www.delicious.com/irontombraider? I have a bunch of different links on there. -- Brett P.
