Steve One way to do it is make a transparent gif of 1px x 1px. Then embed that in your link with no text. Have an ALT or a TITLE with 'skip navigation' <a href="#top" ><img title="Skip navigation" alt="Skip navigation" src="/screens/dot/gif" /></a> regards
