Well, strictly speaking, it's not.  If you build websites and need to perform 
browser check, and you need to check on Safari,  it's  unwise not to be aware 
of such issue, which I am pretty sure, nobody in the English speaking world 
aware of.

As for "dangerous", I am not fully sure about it, my warning is more a "this is 
a porn site kind of warning" IMHO. You can see from the youtube videos links of 
the behavior of "infection" to tell whether it's dangerous or not. I have 
visited ten of pages of such Facebook pages in the past few months, and symptom 
occurs in Safari only, in My Mac, iPad and iPhone Safari. I have run a system 
wide virus check on my Mac, unless the software is incapable of finding any 
thing or there is no infection.
