Hi Laith,

WSIF is not UDDI - have a look at
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/webservices/library/ws-appwsif.html?lo
c=dwmain its a great summary about the WSIF motivation

Betreff: UDDI and Apache SOAP

I'm relatively new to using Apache Web Services and
have a question about the components to web services
available in the open source community. In the past I
have deployed webservices to Oracle 9iAS and Websphere
4. They both have a UDDI directory for publishing the
web service (wsdl). I soon realized there is no
component with the Apache SOAP servlet for publishing
a wsdl. I'm assuming that is what WSIF is??? So, to
get a better understanding, how does WSIF integrate or
work with Apache SOAP (or does it)? Is WSIF the UDDI
and Apache SOAP marshals and unmarshals SOAP messages?
Would a .Net developer be able to lookup a published
wsdl from a WSIF installation?

Thanks,
  Laith E.H.
