Your speed in compiling new svn commits is amazing! Happy to hear that you like the new "+2 kHz" checkbox.

On another matter, the question of startup default frequencies:

After receiving a bunch of input from the wsjtgroup reflector, as well as off-list, I've concluded that the best frequencies are probably these:

Band JT65
--------------
 160 1.838
  80 3.576
  60 5.357
  40 7.076
  30 10.138
  20 14.076
  17 18.102
  15 21.076
  12 24.917
  10 28.076
   6 50.276

For narrow-band, JT9-only operation, add 2 kHz. (That's what the new checbox is for, of course.)

Regarding 30m: I've inserted what might be called a "software notch filter". If you try to transmit in the WSPR band, the program will refuse and pop up this message:

"Please choose another Tx frequency.
 WSJT-X will not knowingly transmit
 between 10.139 900 and 10.140 320 MHz,
 the 30 m sub-band for WSPR transmissions."

This enforces a small "hole" in the WSJT-X displayed portion of the 30m band, set aside for use by WSPR. Rather conveniently, it's located between the JT65 and JT9 segments: from 1900 to 2320 Hz on your WSJT-X waterfall. (The blanked-out width is 320 Hz -- the 200 Hz width of the WSPR band, plus the 177 Hz width of a JT65 signal, plus a 20 Hz guard band on each end.)

Comments???

Any reason not to make a second (and possibly final) beta release of WSJT-X Version 1.1 ?
