Hi Clark,
I have finally got my development environment set up for wsjtx. I can now
build and link from the command line or from QtCreator on my Mac OSX 10.8.5.
But I am having one remaining problem. When I build and run an instance of
wsjtx, the CAT port drop down list box does not list the serial port to be used
by HamLib. I have entered it into the .ini file. I suspect I may not have the
correct wsjtx.ini file. Has it changed from version 3590 which I downloaded
from the website? If so, where can I get a current version of it?
Also, would it make sense to include it in SVN?
The .INI file is personal to your system. WSJT-X will create a vanilla
.INI file itself if there is none present. Default values are provided
for all entries where it makes sense to do so.
The value default process is at the individual entry level; so it is
possible to return entries to their default value by simply editing the
.INI file and removing the entry in question.
In an update to come soon after the current beta version goes to a full
release; the serial port fields in the configuration dialog will become
directly editable, so there will be no need to edit the .INI file
directly, to use a non-standard communications port.
