We necessarily take the point of view that Linux users (as opposed to
Windows users) of WSJT and related programs are generally capable of
configuring things to make their systems usable. My two Linux test
systems run WSJT-X without problems. (Also GNUradio, for what it's worth.)

We do have click-to-install WSJT-X packages for Ubuntu, maintained by
AC6SL. If you'd like to volunteer to create and maintain packages for
Fedora, we'd be happy to have your help.

If you would like to try Fedora, here is a shell script that will
load the libs you will need to compile wspr or wsjtx. I
recommend 64 bit Fedora 20. I use the development
workstation install option and install Xfce on top of that.

With Fedora it's "qmake-qt5"

I use Fedora because I can get Gnuradio to compile on it easily.
