You can forget my message send a few minutes ago. I had forgotten that
after encoding a 72-bit message, JT65 scrambles the symbol order and
applies a gray code. As I'm sure you have noticed, there is no good
reason for doing this. My only excuse is that I was in the beginning
stages of learning about error-control codes when I designed the JT65
protocol.
