Hello,
This topic might have already been raised, but any searches I had done drew blanks.
I have successfully done a quick build of WSJT-X 1.1 r3517 on FreeBSD-10 and also have kvasd working using the Linux binary support in FreeBSD. I used this particular revision as it was one of the last good ones I knew of that still supported QT4 as there is no supported QT5 on FreeBSD just yet.
I was just wondering if there is was anyone out there already been through this exercise? I suppose having binary Linux support might make having a FreeBSD native a moot point, but it was fun to do none the less.
It appears to work, only did a little testing by decoding some JT9 on a very dead band. I still need to do some clean up,etc and try more decoding of JT9 and JT65 and transmitting.
Kind regards,
