I was setting up to build WSPR and WSPR-X last night, (WSPR-X first)
and noticed the installer still using Qt4 DLL's .. It is worth writing
up the build instructions for those two or will they soon be ported
over to Qt5, similar to WSJT-X ?
WSPR does not use Qt at all -- just Python and Tkinter.
WSPR-X and MAP65 should definitely be upgraded from Qt4 to Qt5. When I
did this for WSJT-X, it was pretty straightforward -- maybe an hour or
so, total effort. I just haven't got to it.
I'm not sure whether Qwt will be an issue. When we went to Qt5 for
WSJT-X, we did away with Qwt entirely. That may be desirable for WSPR-X
and MAP65, also.
