Well I just tried building an RPM for Fedora based on the mega update that fixed a lot of the install location problems for *nix systems and I'm happy to say everything seemed to build and install smoothly!
I still need to do some testing (and re-read the tutorial) including transmitting but I was able to decode cleanly on a very noisy 40 meters last night. Thanks, Richard
