Thanks for the patch, but devsetup.cpp is no longer part of the WSJT-X 
branch. It has been superseded by Configuration.cpp which already allows 
for entry and persistence of port names, network addresses and ports etc.

Did you intend the patch to be applied to some prior version earlier 
than the current head? AFAIK apart from serious defects we do not apply 
patches to versions that have been released.

Perhaps you would like to update to the HEAD of the WSJT-X branch and 
build that, then try the new configuration features including sensible 
defaults for ports and addresses.

BTW localhost:4532 has always been the default for the Hamlib net 
backend, there was an issue in that WSJT-X would not allow an empty 
address & port specification to get the default, that is no longer the 
case and simply leaving the address and port box blank will do the right 
thing for the local host.
