Hi Joe, I dont know why it's not including it either.
The redist DLL's are designed to be resent with packages, so no Lic issues there. If he would have installed say QT5 or Python3.x it would have put the DLL's the system32 folder already. To prevent users from having to install them, you can add the DLL's to the same directory where the .EXE file is run from, or have the Inno package install the redist.exe during WSPR. That's what Qt5 and apps like N1MM logger do, but I think they use NSIS, not Inno. I'll try to Google some and see how the Inno installer deals with that. 73's Greg, KI7MT On 06/18/2014 12:29 PM, Joe Taylor wrote: > Hi Greg, > > Thanks for helping W7IUV with the Microsoft dll. > > I'm not sure why CX_Freeze has not done this for us; is there a > licensing issue that would prevent us from including MSVCR100.dll in the > distribution package, as needed? > > -- Joe, K1JT > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > HPCC Systems Open Source Big Data Platform from LexisNexis Risk Solutions > Find What Matters Most in Your Big Data with HPCC Systems > Open Source.
