FreeBSD can be configured to run 32-bit Linux ELF and a.out executables but since KVASD now uses dynamic linking for the libgcc libraries it will get a little complicated.
The best option would be for someone to make a FreeBSD development system available via SSH and ask Joe K1JT to make a native build of KVASD on that system. Better stilll would be to have both a 32-bit (i386) and a 64-bit (amd64) development system available so both flavours can be built. I'm not sure if FreeBSD binaries will run on the other current BSD OSs like OpenBSD and NetBSD. The other mainstream BSD OS is Apple Darwin which is already catered for. > > 73's > Greg, KI7MT 73 Bill G4WJS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming!
