I frequently use WSJT-X from a remote (not in the shack) computer for convenience as I may be busy on other matters. The attentuator slider provides a useful and necessary mechanism for changing output power from a remote computer using screen sharing. The range of the slider (zero to -30dB, a factor of 1000) is uncomfortably large so that the useful range of the slider is compressed to about half a centimetre.
